WHO ARE WE?

The Community Focus Trust was established in 2014 after seeing a need within the community and with discussions with Empower Church leadership, the Community Focus Trust was formed as the heartbeat of Empower Church in the community.

The Community Focus Trust gained its registration as a nonprofit charity with the Charities Commission in May 2016.

The current trustees are Maurice Austin (Chair), Heather McQuilkan (Treasurer), Alan Buffham (Trustee), Emily Bosworth (Trustee) and Sara Brown (Trustee)

OUR PROJECTS

Our vision is focusing on the needs

of the local community and beyond that provides direction and the resources to meet practical, emotional, spiritual and social needs.

To ensure we focus on the needs, we work with others to make sure our projects and services are providing both the practical help and connection people are looking for.

We have a range of projects and services that help us connect with our community, supporting and giving help to those who need it. Our focus is to provide services where we can empower people to connect with their community and seeing the best in people.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

There are many ways that you can help us make sure we are able to continue to focus on the needs of our community and wider.

Volunteer Your Time: From helping us pack fresh fruit & veges to serving at a Community Lunch, we value each volunteer we have, who helps us deliver these essential services.

Give Food Donations: We appreciate each donation we receive, so if you would like to donate food items for our Community Pantry.

Sponsor & Giving: We are always looking at ways how we can fund all of our projects and services, so if you would like to help sponsor a project, please get in touch how you can donate. As we have IRD status, each gift over $5.00 can receive a donation certificate.
